"In the lives other people live sometimes you catch a glimpse of your own life and in the reflection you are able to see a different perspective ....... articulately expressed, inspiring, encouraging and heartening stories of victory over obstacles life throws in."
Life is full of ups and downs for all of us and it is touching to hear what other people have gone through on their healing journey.
“These stories are both heart warming and inspiring. Each story is truly authentic and they are full of a roller coaster of emotions which connects the writer and the reader by seeing oneself in many of these stories. Life is full of ups and downs for all of us and it is touching to hear what other people have gone through on their healing journey both good and bad experiences. I particularly enjoy reading books with short stories in so this was a perfect read for me.”

We take many things for granted not realizing just how fortunate and blessed we truly are.
"While traveling back to the U.S. from Antigua, I decided to pull out my autographed copy of The Silver Linings Storybook, to read “Piano and Me” written by Cindy Suarez. Cindy’s story touched my heart and caused me to reflect on my own life and my personal journey. So often, we take many things for granted not realizing just how fortunate and blessed we truly are. Cindy’s story is motivational, inspiring, and uplifting. Cindy is proof that life is not perfect. We will always be juggling and adjusting some area of our lives. However, when we choose to live our dream by taking the first step, life becomes better. Many blessings to you Cindy!"
"I was given this book by a friend and after reading felt uplifted, Tracy's story hit the nail on the head! Thanks for read."
It passed "the wife test"
“Powerful stories on navigating both personal and business challenges. I actually gave the book to my wife (who vows to "never" read stuff like this) and she came running over a half hour later to recount a story that she read. I loved it... but more importantly it past "the wife test." Well done. Great book.”

"What you track, grows!"
Jack Daly: Expert Sales Speaker, Trainer, CEO Coach, and Thought Leader
San Diego, California, USA
IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW SALES...YOU DON'T KNOW JACK!
Jack Daly is the author of Hyper Sales Growth a Forbes Books publication. In his late 50’s, not knowing how to swim, Jack decided to become a triathlete. These days, he’s nearly completed his personal goal to compete in an Ironman competition in each continent of the world, and run a marathon in all 50 states.
In this conversation we talked about the struggles that happened behind the scenes of his biggest successes, and how he's learned to overcome ANY challenge he's faced, to achieve his goals.
Michell is such a powerful speaker and entrepreneur, our whole 80-minute conversation was value-packed beginning to end. Unconventionally, I've posted our ENTIRE conversation including the podcast and pre-conversation. Soon, I'll post an better edited version of the podcast and likely will have our conversation as a book in the coming weeks.
She has another book coming out this year, Dare to Lead, that shows women the change they can create when they dare to take action.
“The glass isn’t half full, it’s three-quarters full!”
What do you do when your entire career and education isn’t fulfilling your dreams anymore? If you feel stuck - you can’t take the eduction courses or focus you want, and get pushed into a career that you love but that you know doesn’t truly fulfill you?
In this interview conversation, Jordan Klein takes us through how he navigated the change of career from kinesiology to becoming Director of Operations for Shade Works Window Fashions.
Jeffery is CEO and the “Chief Ideator” behind Hardboot Inc., a custom software development company that delivers end-to-end digital solutions and project management to over 30 clients. Since inception in 2007, Jeffery has grown his team to more than 40 people globally with offices in Toronto, New York, Philippines, and Pakistan.
We interviewed on the 9 year anniversary of Hardboot Inc. and it gave Jeffery the perfect trigger for stories of his past and how he’s come to where he is now. Ups & downs and even a few people Jeffery admired who seemed to reject him, but also pushed him to grow.
Without a doubt, Jeffery talks pretty quick but his stories have value! He talks about the value in learning how to work with others well “helping them get their wins”, how he fell into sales even as an introvert and now it’s the business piece that drives him the most, the impact of a literature teacher who was reading up on Linux and offered him a teaching gig, and how he got over his stage fright and lack of speaker skills that would literally keep him up at night.
“Access to opportunity is less important than the ability to realize opportunity.”
Dustin Plett shares stories from the twisted path he took to become the VP of Business Development for a funded tech startup. He talks about how he holds his own in a room full of MBAs now, and the value anyone with a different background or education can bring to the table.
In this conversation, Dustin explores the major impact of perception - changing your own preconceived beliefs of opportunities available to you and your potential in life, learning valuable lessons in school and at work even when it’s not obvious, and the value that a unique perspective can add. This amazing raw podcast will be edited in the coming weeks!
For Shayne, professional photography is so much more than just being another guy who “pushes the button”.
Listen in as we talk about how Shayne creates trust and establishes credibility with prospective clients by advising them honestly about their options, and what are the unique benefits of choosing to work with him to capture a once-in-a-lifetime event, or create a new set of brand photos to perfectly express your persona and establish your credibility or identity.
Especially if you are a new photographer or you're still snapping pictures on the side of your full time job, you’ll take away gems from this conversation including the psychological side to client management, and considering the experience you deliver to the clients and their team.
In this conversation we talk about the ongoing silver lining story that Shayne is looking for (and using in job interviews), in recognizing that he is not the only Shayne Gray that exists who is well known! Also we address how to balance discussing your “side hustle” passions when you still have job commitments to meet, and bosses to report to.
Finally Shayne has some advice if you’re just starting out in a field similar to photography, that has a million gadgets & gear that can make you feel like a “successful professional” just by spending the money to get started.

You've Come this far, now tell your story. JOIN the silver linings storybook volume 3.
It doesn't matter where you are in life, you can find your silver linings story if you look.
They're in every experience of embarrassment, disappointment, humiliation, pain, fear, anger... These are the richest experiences for personal growth and healing.
These experiences are the ones in life that show us our true character and our hidden, unrecognized gifts and talents that need nurturing, to turn into strengths.
Just by getting through life, often we can see in hindsight, those awful experiences that no one deserves, are the KEY to recognizing our gifts, the true ADVANTAGES each of us are blessed with, that comes from truly seeing how strong we were, even when we were just surviving.
Big and small adversity happens to us all and shouldn't be shied away from telling the true stories about those experiences - sharing your story of how you managed to get through can change you, heal you, and your story can hep guide others to their own place of recognizing their hidden talents and strengths.
Your story doesn't have to be big and shocking like a movie for it to be important and impactful not only for you to tell your story, but for many people who have the privilege to read it.
Most of our authors experience a sort of transformation and healing while writing their story; often this is the very first time another human has heard their story, but they're choosing to put it on a global stage.
And, it happens happens quickly!
Once you know in your heart the SILVER LININGS that exist for you from your story of struggle, it's easy to write a chapter for this book. While many of our coauthors wrote thousands of words in draft while penning their stories for the very first time, once they knew their personal Silver Lining, it only took a weekend of writing to get it ready for the next steps: editing, then publishing.
Once published, The Silver Linings Storybook is a product owned by each coauthor individually (that they can leverage, promote, and sell for profit), that allows them to fully experience the joys and credibility boost that comes with being a bestselling book author.
To date, every volume and edition of The Silver Linings Storybook published by Fairy Godmother Debbie Horovitch has become a verifiable bestseller on Amazon, and many of our coauthors have gone on to more success with sponsorships/ambassador deals, more publicity, better business associations and a host of other indirect benefits.
Debbie is a book author's publishing & promotions dream, which is why she calls herself a Publishing Fairy Godmother.
Debbie has been obsessed with books and media since her childhood, and spent her career pursuing that fascination as a media buyer for Toronto advertising agencies and recognizable clients, brands in automotive, financial, consumer goods, even retail (including Indigo/Chapters bookstores!) .
There's really no other media channel like books!
After spending $375 million dollars on behalf of her clients, Debbie became fascinated by the opportunities to leverage "free" social media and advertising with democratized media channel platforms like blogs and media channel websites.
Then she began seeing many of her peers in social media becoming published book authors, and becoming thought leaders, speaking at all the big events and attracting everything they want into their business.
Debbie has been involved in supporting authors with their marketing and personal thought leadership development for at least 5 years, beginning with her YouTube livestream show #SparkleSOS Book Authors & Publishers which interviewed bestselling book authors including Guy Kawasaki, Sally Hogshead, Chris Guillebeau, Dorie Clark, Mike Michalowicz, and more, with a panel of other aspiring book authors.
